How to practise it

  1. Only the first note of each group of four is picked — the rest are h(ammer) and p(ull).
  2. Hammer hard with the fingertip, and pull the string slightly sideways on pull-offs.
  3. Every note should be equally loud. Slow down if the pull-offs get quieter.
  4. Start at 50 BPM. Only speed up when you can play it cleanly three times in a row — the goal is 100 BPM.
