How to practise it

  1. Rest the edge of your picking hand on the strings by the bridge (palm mute) for the gallops.
  2. Pattern per beat: down, down-up.
  3. Let the power chords ring — lift the palm mute for them.
  4. Start at 80 BPM. Only speed up when you can play it cleanly three times in a row — the goal is 160 BPM.
