The easiest way to play them
E is 1402 (3 fingers), Em is 0402 and E7 is 1202. With only four strings, most ukulele chords need one to three fingers, and a chord with more notes than strings simply leaves one out — usually the 5th, which the ear fills in. Strum down from the G string with the side of your thumb or the nail of your index finger.
